All About Rawhide Arena & Co.
In reviewing the statistics on the Arena over the last four years, “Rawhide Arena & Co.” has been tripling the amount of spectators and contestants each season, not to mention events. The Arena hosted 17 events in the “2006” season, our “2007” season had 37 events, our “2008” season had 47, and currently our “2009” season has 57 events scheduled. Events such as: MoKan Youth Rodeo, CYRA Youth Rodeo, Dodge Classic Rodeo, and Ranch Sorting. We are also adding a bull practice each Wednesday beginning in May. Each season we host different Buckle/Saddle Series and events with added money, trophies, and ribbons.
The cowboys voted “Rawhide Arena - 2006 MRCA Rodeo of the Year”.
Rawhide Arena first crowned Cheyenne Ferguson Miss Rawhide Queen in the “2006 Season”. We would like to introduce the current Miss Rawhide Queen – Rebecca Hurst. The planning of the “2010” queen contest is already in the works.
Rawhide Arena is hosting a Dodge Classic URA/MRCA Rodeo in June along with our famous mutton bustin (buckles & added money). We will also have camel rides, a mechanical bull, and a live band.
We will also host our 3rd Rawhide Frontier Days weekend with Ranch Rodeo, Mutton Bustin, Mule Races, Pony Express Races, and Outrider Races. You can be assured that this will be a very western weekend. 
We are now holding our 5th year Ranch Rodeo (buckle series) and introducing our Youth Ranch Rodeo this year. Our 3rd year Ranch Sorting (buckle series) is also currently on the schedule.
One of the goals that Rawhide Arena & Co. is trying to achieve is local participation from all local areas.
